About Me

Hi there! I’m Mariana. I’m a licensed esthetician, skincare enthusiast, and a proud Venezuelan, born in Caracas and rooted in the Bay Area since 2013.

I became a licensed esthetician in 2022 and spent time working in different spas and franchises. It taught me a lot, but I quickly realized how limiting the fast-paced, cookie-cutter approach could be. There wasn’t much space to slow down, educate, or really connect with clients.

I knew I wanted to practice differently. I wanted to give my clients the time, clarity, and care their skin actually deserves.

My approach is simple: science-based, human-focused, and judgment-free. I believe in evidence-based skin care, but I also believe in real life. You can care about your skin while being busy, tired, or in a low-energy season of your life, and your skin care should still feel manageable and realistic.

At Glow & Dagger, treatments aren’t rushed. Whether that means adjusting the pace, tailoring a protocol, or spending extra time explaining what your skin actually needs, every decision is made with intention.
